There was a heightened sense of energy in Toronto this week with the International Film Festival in town. With the combination of the perfect Fall weather, the 4am extended bar curfew, and the smorgasbord of brilliant directors and celebrities, I was very happy to be back in my favorite city.
Starting with the serious minimalist, Tilda Swinton. She literally floated across the stage Friday night in her Haider Ackermann 2011 Fall ensemble. She was there hosting the North American Premiere of “We Need to Talk about Kevin”. The 5’10” statuesque flawless blonde had a huge presence, not only at the Winter Garden Theatre, but as the role as Eva. Oscar worthy performance….check!

Keira Knightley was at TIFF on Saturday night to promote her latest movie, “A Dangerous Method.” in an Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture gown.

Sarah Gadon also joined Keira Knightley on the red carpet Sat night for the “A Dangerous Method” Premiere.

Salma Hayek wore an Alexander McQueen Resort 2012 Bronze embellished dress, triple buckle belt and gold metalic jaw skull clutch to the premiere of “Americano”.

Leighton Meester wore a Alexander McQueen Resort 2012 White Broiderie Anglais shirt & skirt, Cigar belt, Skull clutch and Ocelot print shoes to the premiere of ‘Oranges’.

Chloe Moretz was promoting her new movie “Hick”. The fourteen-year old actress sported a sheer and leather Valentino Pre-Fall 2011 dress.

Kirsten Dunst, wearing Prada and Chanel, attended the premiere of her new movie “Melancholia” yesterday.
